first day

-"Hi."

-"Hi."

-"Um... how are you?"

-"Fine."

-"I'm glad to hear it."

-"Thanks."

And then we spent the rest of the morning staring at our feet.

This is how my life works most of the time. I could easily group myself within the category of "Tragically Awkward Folks." I have trouble making eye contact because it freaks me out and whenever I am supposed to say something, my mouth dries up and the words are stuck on my tongue. Basically... I suck at being social.

So, I made a plan:

I will write out all of my thoughts and ideas and tastes and beliefs and concerns and daily happenings. That way, I will have an outlet to get everything out into the open and I won't feel so stuffed with all of the things I never had the courage to say that day. So, fasten your seat belts, kids. It's go time.
